Sweet Thai Sesame Shrimp

4 servings


Ingredients:



  • 12 ounces Contessa medium Uncooked Tail-on Shrimp




  • 1 cup green onions, chopped




  • 2 carrots, finely diced




  • 4 tablespoons olive oil




  • 1 tablespoon sweet chili sauce




  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese




  • 1 pack of wontons




Steps:



  • In a pot, boil water and add carrots.




  • Cook carrots for 1 minute and drain, set aside.




  • In a separate frying pan, add three tablespoons of olive oil and fry wontons until they are crisp or until they turn golden brown.




  • Remove wontons from the frying pan.




  • Add another tablespoon of olive oil to the pan and saute shrimp until it is cooked about half way.




  • Combine the carrots and green onions and finish cooking the shrimp completely.




  • Transfer into a large mixing bowl and add sesame oil, sweet chili sauce and cream cheese.




  • Mix well and serve with wontons.
