Margarita Shrimp Kabobs

Ingredients:



  • 1 pound Contessa large Uncooked Tail-on Shrimp




  • Marinade:




  • 1/2 cup gold tequila




  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped




  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice




  • 2 tablespoons olive oil




  • 1 tablespoons honey




  • 1 teaspoon orange peel, grated




  • 1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce




Steps:



  • Mix marinade ingredients into a large bowl.




  • Add shrimp into the marinade and refrigerate for 2 hours.




  • Cut limes into 1/2 inch thick slices and then cut them again fourths.




  • Drain shrimp reserving the marinade.




  • Assemble skewers by alternating between shrimp and limes.




  • Barbecue skewers over medium high coals brushing frequently with marinade.




  • Cook shrimp until it turns pink.
