Sal Williams
Congratulations to Sal Williams, the winner of Contessa's Kid-Approved Recipe Contest! Our panel of kid judges loved Sal's recipe, Shrimp Krispies, which turns a traditional Chinese Wonton into a delicious, healthy treat that kids absolutely love. Shrimp Krispies are a finger food, baked to perfection with a scrumptious filling of shrimp and cream cheese topped with golden sesame seeds.
Sal lives and works on a ranch in the Florida Everglades and often feeds up to 50 people. Cooking is one of her passions, and she loves coming up with new and exciting seafood recipes. Some of her favorite Contessa products are shrimp, scallops and scampi. She especially loves Contessa's Shanghai products which she calls, "real time-savers and very tasty. Our family never complains when I serve them Contessa convenience products as a quick meal," she says.
