1 pound Contessa large Uncooked Tail-on Shrimp
1/2 cup gold tequila
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon orange peel, grated
1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
Mix marinade ingredients into a large bowl.
Add shrimp into the marinade and refrigerate for 2 hours.
Cut limes into 1/2 inch thick slices and then cut them again fourths.
Drain shrimp reserving the marinade.
Assemble skewers by alternating between shrimp and limes.
Barbecue skewers over medium high coals brushing frequently with marinade.
Cook shrimp until it turns pink.
